Chart notes
MIGHTY MADI tracked the pace outside of MIDNIGHT JOY through the first turn, engaged outside of COUSIN LOLLIE near the five eighths, vied outside that foe before taking the lead near the half, set the pace while saving ground through the far turn, kicked away from her pursuers into upper stretch, kept finding plenty while racing inside down the lane, went to a brief drive inside the final furlong but was allowed to finish out while being just shown the crop. BLUES CROSS broke a bit slowly, settled outside of BEAUTIFUL JUDGE at the rear, took closer order alongside BEAUTIFUL JUDGE past the half, improved four wide around the bend, was in range near the quarter but could not match MIGHTY MADI into upper stretch, kept chasing between foes and narrowly held place late. BEAUTIFUL JUDGE settled inside of BLUES CROSS at the rear, took closer order past the half mile mark, raced three wide between horses around the far turn, was outkicked by BLUES CROSS and MIDNIGHT JOY into the lane, chased under a drive, improved position outside foes in the final furlong and just missed the place. MIDNIGHT JOY tracked the pace inside of MIGHTY MADI around the first turn, settled back to chase the leading pair down the back straight, took closer order past the half, took closer order two wide between horses around the far turn, was in range near the quarter pole but could not match MIGHTY MADI's kick into upper stretch, and flattened out in the final furlong. COUSIN LOLLIE sent to the lead, set the pace around the first turn, was engaged by MIGHTY MADI past the five eighths, vied with that foe to the half mile mark, was no match from there, weakened inside around the far turn and had nothing left for the drive.
