Chart notes
FOUND THE SECRET soon led, saved ground on the pace around the turn, increased his advantage when driven from upper stretch, and was wrapped up late when the affair was decided. FUN LOVIN GUY raced between horses early, tracked the pace two wide on the turn, chased the leader into the lane but proved no match, continued with interest to the finish, gained some ground late after the pacesetter was wrapped up and held the place. TAPPY broke outward and was a bit awkward into stride, raced at the rear early, improved in the two path inside foes on the turn, waited behind JACKFIRE near the quarter, was driven between horses in upper stretch, responded with a mild rally, gained late position after the pacesetter was wrapped up but was held at bay to miss the place. JACKFIRE settled near the rear of the main group early, was nudged along while shifting three wide on the turn and took closer order, floated out into the six to seven path into the lane, and was outkicked for the minor awards in the final furlong. IMA COMPLEX GUY chased at the outside of the main group early, was urged five wide on the turn but lost position, floated into the six to seven path when driven into the lane, proved no threat but did drive past tiring horses. FLATTER THE FLAME was pushed along early to find a stalking position inside LILAH'S MISCHIEF, hugged the rail around the turn while chasing in range, was driven inside in upper stretch and came up empty. LILAH'S MISCHIEF was asked for pace out of the gate but outgunned by FOUND THE SECRET, was shuffled back to midfield into the turn, raced four wide around the bend, proved empty in the lane and drifted out late.
