KITTY CODE within striking distance into and through the first turn three wide, continued forwardly up the backstretch, idled through the final bend, called on for run then challenged inside the runner up midstretch with less than a furlong left, gained the advantage and was edging away under firm handling. OLD BOYS CLUB unhurried in the early going, moved out a swept up to challenge five wide early in the final turn, put a head in front entering the stretch while in the four path, briefly responded when challenged by the winner from the inside with less than a furlong remained then could not match strides, enough left late to last for the place. MARC back off the pace and the inside, moved closer between horses and inside the winner, remained within striking distance through the final turn, stalled a bit in upper stretch, regathered late and was gaining for the place. PROMISSIONE lacked speed off the inside, was roused late in the final turn, came in the two path for the drive, steered out and staged a mild rally to improve position. LOOK NO MO in mid pack off rail, fell back the third quarter to lose position, came three wide for the drive, also displayed some late energy to better his position. QUALITY STYLE away in good order, prompted the leader from the outside under a light hold, bid second turn between horses, faltered in the drive. WIN'S IMAGE settled inside, continued one paced through the final turn, came up empty for the stretch drive. EVERY THIRD DAY broke on top, showed the way into the first turn, attempted to rate the middle half, gave way in the drive. OBAN off a step slow, remained back in failing to muster a rally. UNRIVALED HERO also raced back and was never a threat.
