Chart notes
BELLACOSE went to the front, was well rated while setting the pace, controlled the action while inside to the two path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, drifted out under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, switched to a right-handed crop inside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. BELLE CHERIE settled comfortably in third position, was asked in the two path on the turn, chased the winner under a drive in the stretch and was second best. VINO FRIZZANTE was urged along off the pace, angled out with about six furlongs to run, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed kick while best of the rest. CARARRA broke out and brushed the gate, dropped well behind the rest of the field, moved in around the five-eighths pole, shifted from the rail to the three path on the turn, swung out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. CALLING AN AUDIBLE settled off the pace, was urged along while inside to the two path on the turn and failed to rally. MOONLIT WEEKEND tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the two to three path on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and tired.
