Chart notes
NICOLE'S WILL tracked the leaders from the rail through the turn, saved ground cutting the corner turning for home, snuck through on the fence in mid-stretch and surged to the lead to be clear late. IPLEDTHEFIFTH stalked the pace from three wide to the quarter pole, circled five wide turning for home and mounted a grinding rally to be up for the place. FRENCHMAN JAMES pressed the pace to the turn, took a brief lead on the bend, continued to vie for the lead to mid-stretch and was outkicked by the top pair. ALABAMA SLEEPER set the pace under constant pressure, exchanged the lead on the turn while dueling gamely, battled through the lane and weakened inside the final eighth. NOBLE HERO went evenly never posing a threat. TALKIN TOUGH was outrun.
