Chart notes
WHY NOT MAYZEE stalked the pace in the two-path, drifted wide on the last turn into the stretch, but closed the gap on the leader to be along in time. TAP MAN seized the early advantage but had a rival pressing the issue to the outside, maintained a narrow lead to the far turn, finished willingly, but yielded the lead in the final yards. ANOTHER LIFER was off poorly behind the rest, steadily advanced while racing in the three-path, kept to task late, made a mild rally up the rail to gain the minor award. ALFA SIETE tracked three-wide well behind the pace, kept on late but was outkicked for third. A GREAT SERGEANT went four-wide through the first turn, got down to the rail before the quarter pole, saved ground through the far turn but did offer a late bid. TIZ A BUDDY dropped to the back early and never threatened. POINT MAKER showed no early speed, dropped far behind early, and trailed throughout.
