Chart notes
BERNALINHO was content to settle in a pocket just behind the pace, slipped through an opening on the inside near the quarter pole to take the lead, and held firm ahead of a determined rival to prevail. MISCHIEFS CAUSEWAY made all the early running, then weakened a bit in the stretch while finishing well clear of the third horse. LORD OF LIGHT raced three-wide but always close up, then weakened in the stretch. ANTICIPATED raced in range of the leaders for a half-mile, then dropped back before the last turn and was outfinished. PULPITS POWER raced wide and showed little.
