Chart notes
PROMISE TO WIN brushed leaving the gate, quickly went to the front, then saved ground while showing the way, turned back a challenge from SEE ME DO IT, and was kept to task. RIPTIDE BEAUTY was bumped sideways leaving the gate, settled mid-pack from just off the rail, moved up menacingly at the quarter pole but was unable to get by despite a strong finish. GOLDIE MONROE brushed at the start, sat in striking range, swung five wide in the final turn, and lacked the kick that was required. GOLDEN GOOSE tracked six wide, fanned four wide in the far turn, and went evenly through the stretch. SO SORRY was bothered leaving the gate then bumped into inside rivals, stalked four to five wide, and failed to threaten in the drive. CHICKPEA bumped repeatedly leaving the gate, and lodged a mild late bid. CHABLIS squeezed out away from the gate, saved ground, lodged a mild bid and gave way. SEE ME DO IT stalked the pace, moved up closer leaving the backstretch, loomed boldly near the quarter pole, and faltered in the stretch. PLAYFUL FORCE broke in, bumping into SO SORRY, causing a chain reaction, and was quickly outrun.
