Chart notes
AL MUSTANEERA rated off of the early pace then stalked to the backstretch, roused two wide into the far turn, made a quick move to take command and kicked clear at the quarter marker, drew off into upper stretch, kept task to the final sixteenth and held safely over the oncoming runner-up. PRIVATE MO vied for early command from the inside, went up to take the lead into the first turn, set a decent pace to the half-mile marker, overtaken by AL MUSTANEERA into the far turn, angled off of the rail and fought on into the lane, re-rallied late but couldn't catch the winner and was second best. MCKINZIE RIVER away in good order then took back, settled while saving ground to the backstretch, kept an inside path to the far turn then angled out but was caught a bit in tight behind PRIVATE MO into upper stretch, shifted back to the inside and chased at mid-stretch, couldn't keep pace with the top pair late and was an easy third. HULAH JAY broke alertly then was close up to the early lead while three wide, tracked the decent pace three deep into the backstretch, dropped back along the far turn and was empty in the stretch drive. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
