SOCK IT TO ME unhurried in the early stages, saved ground into the turn then was caught in traffic nearing the quarter marker, waited for racing room to upper stretch, bid between rivals into the final furlong, confronted SHADOWY past mid-stretch then dueled that one to the final sixteenth, took a narrow lead in deep stretch then dug in late to prevail. SHADOWY took back and settled early on, roused three wide to the quarter marker then vied for the lead to upper stretch, took command into the final furlong, met the bid of SOCK IT TO ME past mid-stretch, dueled gamely to the final sixteenth and was bested late, while holding clearly for second. HALLOWEEN away in good order then allowed to settle, advanced two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, swung four wide to upper stretch and chased to the furlong grounds, was outkicked late by the leading pair but was clear for third. POWERIZED sent for the early lead, took command and set the pace while clear along the backstretch, carved out solid fractions into the turn, came under pressure nearing the quarter marker, dug in and battled to upper stretch, couldn't hold off rivals to the final sixteenth and faded late. WARRING THUNDER went up to track the early pace from the inside, shifted to the two path into the turn and pressed the pacesetter between foes nearing the quarter pole, vied for the lead to upper stretch, couldn't keep pace into the final furlong and weakened in deep stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
