Chart notes
TUMBLEWEED QUEEN vied for the early lead from the outside, showed good speed and took command, sprinted clear to the turn and set a solid pace to the quarter marker, drew off into upper stretch, held a clear lead to the final sixteenth and kept to task in the late stages. JUNO PALACE broke alertly then rated off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn, tipped out to upper stretch and was set down for the drive, closed willingly to the final sixteenth, couldn't reel in the winner in deep stretch but was a clear second. FOGG COVE bobbled a bit at the start then rated off of the early pace, coaxed two then three wide into the turn, swung five to six wide to upper stretch, mounted a bid into the final sixteenth but could not impact the top pair late and held for third. MY LADY SCARLETT away in good order then settled in the second flight and tracked along the backstretch, chased the pace two wide nearing the quarter pole, got outkicked to upper stretch, kept on into the lane, couldn't find more to the final sixteenth and just missed for third. ROSENVOLD settled off of the early pace then was caught in tight and took up while inside of rivals nearing the half-mile pole, swung out then ran in pursuit three to four wide into the turn, kept a wide path to the stretch and failed to threaten late. BLUE NORTHERN broke a bit awkwardly and last away from the gate, crowded in the opening furlong while between foes, settled and saved ground to the turn, angled out and swung three to four wide to upper stretch, lacked a rally to the final furlong and did not factor late. BLESSED HARMONY bobbled a bit at the start then settled in mid-pack while outside of rivals, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and tired in the final furlong. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
