Chart notes
FOLLOW THE FELLOW broke on top, led the way into the turn, always traveling well, responded when asked to kick on past the three-furlong pole, opened up at the top of the stretch, and won geared down in the final stages. RIDLEY PARK lacked any early speed and trailed the field early on, ran on late to be up for the place. NINJA PRIZE chased the field from well back, started to advance on the others with three-furlongs to run, and made a mild rally to move up to gain third. GREAT COMPOSER chased the pacesetter two-wide to the turn, came under a ride past the three-furlong pole, and weakened in the stretch while racing on the wrong lead. GO EAST raced close up to the stretch, then weakened. KIT SCAT pressed the pace four-deep down the backstretch, then struggled to keep pace through the turn and was not involved late.
