Chart notes
ELFUEGOMASBRILANTE rated in mid-pack to midway on the far turn, rallied leaving the five-sixteenths pole, circled five wide turning for home and closed well wearing his rivals down to be up in time. TWIST 'N TWIRL stalked the runaway leader from afar to the final turn, closed the gap on the bend to engage the pacesetter in upper stretch, took the lead leaving the eighth pole and was caught in the final strides in a good effort. RAMBLIN BETTS sped off to take the lead into the first turn, opened a wide advantage on the field that he maintained to the final bend, settled as the pack closed in, responded when challenged to battle to midway down the lane and could not last in the final furlong. YOUREAWIZARD HARRY was unurried to be near the back of the strung out field and closed ground coming home showing some late interest. SNOVEMBER was slow early to be the trailer and passed weaker rivals in the lane without impact. OH' WHAT A DAY went evenly never posing a threat. HE'S A PISCES was well placed chasing the leader to the top of the stretch and gave way late.
