Chart notes
SNOWHOMISH , four wide outside horses leaving the backstretch, secured command approaching the stretch and pulled away under a hand ride. BEARING WITNESS , reluctant to load into the starting gate, showed speed in the two path between horses leaving the backstretch, chased the winner and weakened. NAZEER , checked in tight quarters between the top two finishers entering the turn, dropped back on the bend then finished gamely between rivals. UNIQUENESS , five wide leaving the backstretch, advanced four deep to reach contention entering the stretch then gave way. CHASING CHAD broke slowly, rushed up along the inner rail leaving the backstretch, stayed inside horses on the turn and gave way in upper stretch. KING XISCO , squeezed back near the five eighths pole, trailed and was wide leaving the turn. An objection by the rider of NAZEER against BEARING WITNESS for alleged interference entering the turn was not allowed.
