ROAN BURGUNDY sent to take early command, got caught a bit in tight between rivals along the backstretch run, chased WHAT DOES IT TAKE into the far turn then re-rallied outside of that foe, responded while eight to nine paths off of the rail into the stretch, wore down WHAT DOES IT TAKE into the final sixteenth and held in deep stretch for a determined win. WHAT DOES IT TAKE broke alertly then ceded the early lead, stalked three wide to the backstretch, vied at the half-mile then took command, led to the quarter marker, drifted out under firm left handed urging into the lane, was all out to hold off ROAN BURGUNDY in the final sixteenth, bested by the winner in deep stretch and well clear for second. SKIMBLE SHANKS off a bit slowly leaving the gate, settled inside, went up to vie for the lead at the half-mile, chased to the far turn, couldn't find more into the stretch and gave way.
