Chart notes
ECLIPTICAL GINA ceded the early lead then tracked the pace to the first turn, went up to vie for the lead between runners nearing the half-mile pole, met the bid of PITTORE D'ORO into the far turn and dueled that one to the quarter pole, repelled the runner-up into the lane then kicked clear at mid-stretch, drew off while in hand into the final sixteenth and was geared down late to win as much the best. PITTORE D'ORO close up while three wide in the early stages, went up to vie for the lead three deep at the half-mile marker, dueled ECLIPTICAL GINA into the far turn, was turned away by that one into upper stretch, no match late for the winner but was an easy second. DON DIVA sent to take the early lead, set a modest pace from the inside heading to the half-mile marker, overtaken at that station, couldn't keep pace to the far turn and gave way.
