LUCYS MAJOR MIRCLE vied outside WHEELER DEALER into and around the first turn, poked a head in front near the five eighths then pulled his way clear after a half mile, spurted away under some coaxing leaving the far turn, wandered out to about the four path entering the stretch, corrected and drew out under a drive. QUICKTRIP VAN , four deep into the first turn, stalked off the inside, gained three to four wide and to the inside of a rival leaving the five sixteenths, briefly paused as the winner drifted approaching the stretch, shifted in through the drive and kept on willingly to nab the place. COLLUSIONIST , three wide between horses nearing the seven eighths, drafted back off the leaders and raced removed from the rail, gained four to five wide outside QUICKTRIP VAN nearing the quarter pole, chased on past mid stretch, failed to sustain, faded and lost second in the final yards. WHEELER DEALER vied inside foes early, was headed five furlongs out, pursued towards the inside leaving the far turn, failed to respond past the five sixteenths and faltered. There was a stewards' inquiry into the run into the stretch. No action was deemed necessary. This was a non-wagering event and run for purse money only.
