Chart notes
FREEDOM GLIDER broke slowly, was rank in traffic entering the far turn, worked between horses leaving the turn, angled outside in upper stretch, bumped with REAL MEN VIOLIN when challenging near the eighth pole then drew off. REAL MEN VIOLIN , nicely rated in the two path on both turns, eased out to the three path in upper stretch, bid for the lead, bumped with the winner near the eighth pole and continued gamely. ROYAL RENEGADE stayed inside horses throughout, was well placed turning for home and flattened out. RAGMAN bumped RAGS TO LACE entering the first turn, advanced outside horses the far turn, was fanned five wide entering the stretch and failed to rally. THIRTY WEST stayed inside horses, advanced to mid stretch then weakened. SARATOGA CRUISER , wide the far turn, passed tired horses. MERGING TRAFFIC , no factor, raced along the inner rail in the stretch. LIBERTY BAY advanced outside RETURN FIRE to take the lead on the far turn, drifted wide entering the stretch and faltered. RAGS TO LACE , bumped and carried four wide entering the first turn, chased outside horses and tired turning for home. RETURN FIRE set the pace to the far turn, stopped and was eased.
