Chart notes
EYES ON THE GROUND , angled outside leaving the backstretch, circled horses, floated five wide turning for home, swept to command inside the eighth pole and eagerly drew away under brisk urging. FREELY HELD bore out on rivals leaving the starting gate, disputed the pace inside horses and weakened the final furlong. SUGAR ON FIRE raced along the inner rail around the turn, through the stretch and flattened out. GOOD WILLIE , forced out leaving the starting gate, raced in the two path on the turn and passed tired rivals. MAGIC BAY , swung outside leaving the backstretch, advanced four deep leaving the turn then weakened in upper stretch. LINO'S FIRE raced along the inner rail around the turn and in the stretch and failed to be a factor. COUCHES BURNING , forced out leaving the starting gate, disputed the pace outside horses to the stretch, remained on his left lead and gave way.
