Chart notes
FIVEO'CLOCKCHARLIE was coaxed to the early lead but soon joined by an inside foe, vied with then one then kicked clear, was briefly challenged by another foe past the quarter pole but drew clear again and held sway under steady handling. DREAM GOLD got away slowly, trailed racing off the inside, took the overland route outside foes fanning eight wide into upper stretch, lugged in a bit, straightened out and kept on gaining to secure the place. STEVE stalked the leading pair, advanced three wide on the turn reaching contention passing the quarter pole but evened out in the stretch while best of the rest. COOLTHING was off the pace about mid-pack between foes into the turn, shifted five wide at the quarter pole, kept on in the stretch but needed more. STANCE was off the pace, raced inside foes saving ground on the turn, failed to rally. WAYLLEN RICHARD lacked early speed despite encouragement, raced outside into the turn moving out from four to six wide, was in just a bit tight in upper stretch, switched outside foes at that juncture, failed to rally. BABY I'M HAMMERED moved forward inside to contest the pace briefly, continued chasing inside, switched out passing the five-sixteenths coming to the quarter pole four wide, was empty in the lane. SPAN chased from outside, dropped back four then three wide on the turn and faded.
