Chart notes
KNAUGHTY KNIGHT broke alertly, showed the way out of the chute, set some lively splits just off the inside, came in the two path out of the turn while maintaining daylight, enough left to hold the next two safe in the late going. PEARL BLUE behind the pace outside, continued three wide through the turn, asked for some run into the stretch, took over the second spot late in the turn, continued to close the margin on the winner to the wire while running out of racetrack. GIRL AT HOME off a step slow, raced back early, saved ground through the turn when moving a bit closer, continued with mild interest through the lane to also be closing the gap on the winner. SHES VALS BARKLEY forwardly placed, began to falter in the far turn, was not a factor in the drive. SAMAROLU off a step slow, moved up to a forward position three wide, gave way turning into the stretch, continued to back up and jogged in late while well back.
