Chart notes
STRIKING FINALE well placed while saving ground early on, waited for racing room at the quarter marker, tipped two wide to upper stretch, surged between rivals nearing the furlong grounds, took command and won going away. SUNFISH unhurried while saving ground early, gained to the far turn, raced a bit in tight while along the rail at mid-stretch, found a seam to the final furlong and fought on along the inside, couldn't match stride with the winner late but earned the nod for place. DEL MAR SUNRISE (IRE) settled outside early, was blocked then steadied behind runners at the quarter marker, continued to race in traffic to upper stretch, angled out and bid into the final furlong, couldn't keep pace with the winner into the final sixteenth and just missed for the place. JUSTICE PREVAILS close up to the early pace, prompted the modest pace into the backstretch, went up to vie for the lead between foes at the quarter pole, battled three wide into the lane, turned away by STRIKING FINALE approaching the final sixteenth, yielded in deep stretch and was outfinished for the minor awards. LA RODADA forwardly placed early on while outside of rivals, tracked the pace three to four wide to the far turn, was well placed to the quarter pole then swung widest to upper stretch, couldn't sustain a run into the final sixteenth and flattened out late. MORE APPLAUSE assumed early command, set modest fractions while prompted to the backstretch, dug in into the far turn and led to the quarter marker, overtaken approaching mid-stretch then faded in the late stages.
