Chart notes
TEDDY BEAR settled in the second flight to begin, caught a bit in tight between foes midway along the turn, angled to the three path upper stretch, turned away the runner-up past the furlong grounds, drew clear late. HANDSOME FOX off bit slow leaving the gate, mounted a long drive from the inside heading to the top of the lane, vied to mid-stretch, outkicked in the final sixteenth, held for second. JIMBO BAILEY pinched at the start and trailed in the early going, advanced between rivals nearing the quarter marker, weaved through and rallied three to four wide to upper stretch, finished well in the final sixteenth and just missed for second. FUOCO VIVO sent, set disputed pace two wide to the turn, shook free into the bend, dug in into the lane, couldn't hold off rivals into the final sixteenth and yielded late. G SPEEDY settled outside, gained four wide to the quarter pole, swung five wide upper stretch, flattened out. I'M TUFF ENOUGH hustled, pressed early pace inside, chased to the quarter pole, weakened lane. EMERGING LEADER (ARG) hesitated start, void early speed, trailed to the quarter pole, no factor. BIG TIMER tracked the early pace two to three wide, gave way in the lane, pulled up in the final sixteenth, walked onto the equine ambulance and was transported off of the course.
