Chart notes
LA PANDA stalked the pace to midway on the final turn, rallied nearing the quarter pole to be gaining five wide in upper stretch in a three way duel for the lead at the eighth pole, drifted a bit in the final furlong and finished the best of the trio to prevail. DOMINANT STRANGER set the pace on a well rated, clear lead to the far turn, responded willingly when challenged late on the bend, vied through the stretch while drifting out several paths and was outkicked late in the drive in a game effort. GOSSIPER prompted the pace to the far turn, rallied on the bend under a drive to threaten turning for home, battled between rivals to midway down the lane and angled in off the heels of the drifting runner-up late in the lane without impact when having already been turned away. UPPITY UP was well placed along the fence saving ground throughout and lacked a closing response going evenly late. BRAVO KITTEN went evenly failing to menace. VINO ROSATO reserved off the pace near the rear of the field, swung wide turning for home and failed to threaten. XERCES was not a factor.
