Chart notes
BRILLIANT JOURNEY prompted the pace for three-quarters, rallied five wide turning for home to take command in upper stretch, kicked away in the final furlong and was unthreated coming home. STARSHIP EMPIRE reserved off the pace through the first turn, closed the gap from between rivals down the backstretch, continued a steady advance rallying five wide in upper stretch and finished willingly to be up for the place. BOSLEY was well rated on a well measured lead under steady pressure throughout, responded when challenged diggin-in for the stretch drive, was no match for the winner and ran-on to be best of the rest. ADIOS BUCCANEER tracked the leaders from five wide to the far turn, loomed on the bend and flattened out coming home evenly. UP TO NO GOOD settled off the pace after being forwardly placed through the first turn and failed to mount a rally as no threat. PACE was outrun.
