Chart notes
BRIEF ENCOUNTER settled two wide, shifted four wide on the turn, rallied under right handed urging to make the lead inside the furlong marker and edged clear late. VAL'S TWINSTAR pressed the pace along the inside into the stretch, gained a narrow lead before the furlong marker then couldn't handle the winner in the late stages. ANGEL I'M NOT stalked the pace three wide into the stretch, altered course five wide at the furlong marker and finished determinedly. DRILL BLITZ saved ground along the rail through the turn, shifted out four wide at the top of the stretch, veered out six wide late and improved position. MOON EVENT set the pace two wide into the stretch then weakened. DRIVEN FOR SUCCESS had no impact. ROSETTA was no threat.
