Chart notes
TAVERNELLE was a pace factor then pushed up between rivals to take the lead, pushed away after four furlongs and was clear driving. TIZ CURLY JOE was sent for speed, led to the backstretch, was under more urging when collared by the winner but could not stay with that one and settled for the place. MR MEMPHIS tracked the pace while outside rivals, got outkicked after three and a half furlongs and lacked the needed late response. JIMMY'S WILD BOY had no speed while racing off the rail and did not rally. PICK A LANE FRANK also had no speed and was never a threat.
