Chart notes
GOLDEN PLATE lightly brushed with an outer foe when edging up to a stalking spot entering the first turn, rated kindly prompting two wide, moved alongside the PRINCE COLTON after a half, dueled leaving the far turn, edged clear under coaxing into the stretch, kept on under strong handling past mid stretch then was fully extended to hold sway. TUFF LUCK , in close soon after the break, regrouped then settled well off the early pace, responded when cued two wide leaving the half mile marker, steadily progressed two wide into the lane, worked between runners in mid stretch then kept on gamely to earn the place. PRINCE COLTON cleared early, set the pace towards the inner rail, dug in when joined past the five eighths, sparred under asking leaving the three eighths, couldn't quite match strides with the winner entering the lane, dug in to pursue past mid stretch and continued willingly to the wire. SMILE MON drifted in tightening foes after the break, straightened then exchanged a brush heading to the first turn, spied the leaders three wide into the backstretch, was under a ride chasing three wide past the five sixteenths, shifted out a bit wider in the drive and kept on with effort. WALDRIP , four wide into the first turn, was guided inside nearing the five eighths, continued inside into the lane but came up empty. ARMED N DANGEROUS , pinched back soon after the break, dropped well off the pace and failed to get involved.
