Chart notes
HEY BUDDY sped clear in the opening sixteenth then dropped inside, dug in when confronted leaving the three eighths, dueled under a ride nearing the lane, dug in after being headed in upper stretch, fought back under left handed encouragement to take a slim advantage leaving mid stretch then spurted clear late while on the left lead. FIRE DOWN BELOW angled out heading to the five eighths and tracked the winner, went on the attack under a hustling ride near the three eighths, dueled on near even terms into the lane, poked a head in front soon after, was unable to match strides leaving the sixteenth marker and gave way grudgingly. BIGDADDYSBOY , tucked up behind the leaders nearing the half, stayed in range mid turn, shifted out near mid stretch but came up empty. GENGHIS , bumped at the break, edged up while saving ground heading to the half mile marker, angled out around the turn and had a belated response. HELDISH , off last after stumbling and bumping an outer foe, was taken well wide after regrouping, rushed up nearing the half, chased four wide to upper stretch then weakened a furlong out.
