Chart notes
SALTWATER COWBOY stalked the run-away leading pair from the three path, ranged up to bid in hand outside of them at the quarter pole, assumed command entering the lane and drew off under wraps to prove much the best. FAST SOLUTION dueled for the lead with an outer rival into the backstretch, backed off with five furlongs to go, rebid outside of his rival and from the four path passing the three furlong pole, vied in the three path turning for home, got outkicked by an outer bidder entering the lane, proved no match yet held place. RAISING KANE laid off of the pace in the two path, came under strong urging into the turn, shifted to the five path entering the lane before being floated wider in midstretch yet moved up. MACHINE GUN MAN dueled for the lead with an inner foe into the backstretch, led in the two path before being collared by his rebidding outer counterpart leaving the three furlong pole, yielded to that one and a wider challenger entering the lane, drifted out in midstretch and weakened. COMES A TIME raced off of the pace in the four to three path, edged fourth at the quarter pole but flattened out without reaching contention. ICE MINISTER stuttered a step at the start, laid well back along the inside, floated out to the five path turning for home and failed to factor. BLUE COAST chased along the inside then faded.
