Chart notes
JOE'S CANDY stalked from the three to two path into the turn, bid outside of the leader and from the three path at the quarter pole, drove clear in midstretch then held from an outer challenger late. LASTING QUALITY was slow into stride and lagged behind early on, trailed in the five path into the turn, picked up stride to launch progress turning for home, sustained his rally to offer a late bid outside of the clear leader but missed. HONOR BOUND tugged to vie for the lead outside of a rival and from the four path into the turn, led and crossed to the three path around the bend, got collared by an outer bidder at the quarter pole, was bested in upper stretch and gave way through the final furlong. MR. J laid off of the pace in the three path, progressed to split foes and gain show leaving the quarter pole, but got outkicked by an outer rival whlie flattening out in midstretch. BLACKJACK MAN chased from midpack along the inside, gave way around the far turn to trail in the four path entering the lane, yet surpassed tiring foes late. MAIBOCK broke a step slow, recovered to chase forwardly in the four path into the turn but tired. WATASHI led along the inside early on, but got headed by an outer prompter entering the turn, faded with five sixteenths to go and weakened.
