Chart notes
CANDLELIGHT HOURS vied for the lead along the inside into the far turn, made the lead before the quarter pole, set the balance of the pace and proved best under right handed urging. SILVER KISS was bumped near the fifteen sixteenths pole by the leading LIONISTIC, checked over that ones heels nearing the first turn, shifted out bumping STRIKING LADY, prompted the pace three wide into the stretch, kept on two wide but couldn't get by the winner. LA ARTISTA allowed to settle, offered a mild bid along the inside into the stretch then was outfinished. LIONISTIC bumped the runner up near the fifteenth sixteenths pole, set the pace two wide into the far turn, drifted to the six path entering the stretch and tired. HERE'S THE SPIDER moved up two wide on the far turn then came up empty. DERBY DAY KISS failed to menace. STRIKING LADY was bumped from her inside entering the clubhouse turn then had no response. JAC'S COCOABELLA was outrun. BANANA PUDDING settled two wide, was through after a half, stopped in upper stretch and was eased to the wire.
