Chart notes
BUSINESS MATH showed speed and set the pace on the inside of MY BESTIE, controlled the action while inside on the turn, responded well when asked in the two path into the stretch, was given two pops of a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. JUNEAU broke out then quickly righted herself, chased the pace down the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch and showed good courage to safely secure the place. MY BESTIE displayed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, chased in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path, moved out some outside the eighth-pole, pursued the top two under a drive into the final furlong, drifted in into the final sixteenth and weakened but was clear for the show. BOXAJOE N TOOTZROL chased the pace from fourth, went around the turn in the three path, came out to the five path into upper stretch, dropped back while remaining on her inside lead into the final furlong, was pulled in by the rider shortly thereafter to elicit a lead change but continued on her inside lead and tired. BEECHWOOD'S BEST broke a half-step slow then dropped back, was urged along on the inside of BROWN SUGAR BETTY, rounded the turn in the three path and failed to threaten. BROWN SUGAR BETTY was off a half-step slow then dropped back, raced on the outside near the back while ridden along, traveled around the turn in the four path, spun into the stretch in the five path and was no factor. DREAM ABOUT broke a half-step slow then dropped back while urged along, saved ground for most of the turn, moved out late on that bend, turned into the stretch in the six path and failed to respond.
