Chart notes
FAYE L. pressed the pace, assumed command on the turn, swung out entering the stretch, drew off for a clear lead, drifted out and held safely while under urging. AWESUGARSUGAR broke in and bumped at the start, raced close to the pace, was carried out leaving the turn and closed to get up for place while no threat to the winner. CANDY GIRL MISS bumped at the start, swung wide entering the stretch, bid, hung late and settled for show. REAUX DAY bumped at the start, was checked on the turn, angled out, swung wide, bid and came up empty. FLORA BOUND was never far back, bid off the rail leaving the turn and lacked a late response. DEWEY'S SOLDIER trailed the field in an even effort and passed tiring rivals. STORM SURGE bumped at the start, advanced along the rail to set a pressured pace to the turn, stopped and was eased late. NOTHIN bumped and was squeezed at the start, showed speed to the turn and stopped.
