Chart notes
FOOTPRINT raced close to the pace along the inside, awaited room on the turn, bid along the rail, angled out, closed willingly and drew clear inside the sixteenth pole. MATINEE IDOL lagged early, advanced along the inside on the turn, angled out at the top of the stretch and finished well to earn place. FILM AT ELEVEN vied inside, inched away leaving the turn, was outclosed and all out for show. STRUCK OUT trailed the field, went widest in the drive and found his best stride late. MAXXUS stalked the pace, challenged three wide on the second turn, came in in the upper stretch, crowded BILLY'S GOT ISSUES, dropped back and faded. DARK VECTOR was outrun in an even effort. BILLY'S GOT ISSUES vied two wide, dropped back a bit leaving the turn, was crowded and checked in the upper stretch and stopped. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, MAXXUS WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SEVENTH FOR CAUSING INTERFERENCE IN THE UPPER STRETCH.
