Chart notes
MODONDAY grabbed the early lead, responded to this cue leaving the turn and kicked clear under steady pressure. VEKOMA CITY raced in striking position while three wide, proved no match but stayed on to garner the place spot. SUBTLE SIR stalked the pace, had to be urged to keep his position on the turn and kept on without posing a threat in the stretch. NEW FRIEND leaned out at the start, was outpaced early, moved five wide into the stretch and offered no bid. MESSI'S MAGIC off slowly, saved ground, was angled out four wide approaching the quarter pole and did not factor. CID CAMPEADOR was always outrun.
