Chart notes
REDLAND REBELS set a contested pace, edged clear when asked approaching the quarter pole and held well thereafter under a drive. JUSTIN SMILES reserved while three wide, moved closer on the far turn between rivals, finished willingly but could not reach the top one. PROST chased while four wide, was asked to improve on the far turn and managed a mild four wide stretch rally. DR. JEKYLL saved ground, remained inside for the stretch run and went evenly. JACK KEROUAC stalked the pace, had to be urged to keep up on the far turn and came up empty in the stretch. NOBLE TIGER never menaced. EL TINMARIN was void of speed and no factor.
