Chart notes
COAL FRONT KID dueled with DIAMOND DASHER from along the outside and was fully extended to prove narrowly best. DIAMOND DASHER dueled for the lead throughout from along the inside and just missed in a tough decision. CANDY CHARMER saved ground while being unhurried, angled out to be three-wide nearing the eighth pole and finished fast. ZIWHAT was allowed to settle racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and finished stromgly. CAPE ROYAL raced in the back of the field, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. OUR REMBRANDT chased the early pace racing along the inside and tired.
