Chart notes
PARKWAY pressed the pace up the backstretch, dueled outside of LAST DIAMOND around the turn and two wide down the lane, shook free to a slim lead deep stretch and held firm. CONTACT TRACING tracked the pace along the inside, angled out a path around the far turn, set down three wide for the drive and edged closer to the wire. LAST DIAMOND set a pressured pace, dueled inside of PARKWAY around the far turn, battled back gamely along the rail into the final furlong then yielded late. PERSONAL JET rated two wide off the top flight mid-way up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, made some headway two wide in upper stretch then flattened out. BEYOND BEST raced in the back, came three wide into the lane and had no response. BY DECREED engaged the second flight mid-way up the backstretch, coaxed three wide around the far turn then gave way.
