Chart notes
AARON raced in range three wide around the first turn, settled nicely in hand and stalked the leader up the backstretch, let out a notch and crept up to engage VALE mid-way around the turn, took over a slim lead still in hand at the quarter pole, came three wide entering the head of the lane, responded gamely when called upon, widened to a clear advantage and kept to task. GOLD GUNNER rated near midpack in early stages, came under a ride three wide nearing the quarter pole, sustained response in the lane and secured second best. IOWA CLUB tracked the pace along the inside, saved ground around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive and ran on for a share. CAMP DADDY raced off the early pace, hustled along four paths wide entering the head of the lane and needed more for serious impact. VALE set the pace, got collared by the winner at the quarter pole and leaving the furlong marker. CATEGORY TEN failed to move into contention.
