Chart notes
CARC BROTHERS settled tracking the front just off the inside from mid pack, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and angled six wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command nearing the quarter pole, edged clear under a drive and was geared down in the late stages. CALVIN'S RIDE brushed the off side stall at the start when breaking outwards, raced three wide into the first turn before tucking to be just off the rail, settled along the inside and then just off the inside down the backstretch, took closer order on the once clear leader through the far turn tipping to the two path five-sixteenths from home, took over command near the quarter pole and swung five wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was caught just outside the eighth pole, tussled briefly with the top one before being shaken off and was along well clear of the rest and second best. WILLPOWERED settled tracking the front just off the inside from near the rear of the field, got coaxed along three furlongs from home, angled five wide into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the wire. SIX FORTYFIVE coaxed from the gate, showed the way along the inside and then began to spurt away midway on the first turn to a commanding lead into the backstretch, had the field steadily whittle away at that lead before taking closer order into the far turn, came under a ride nearing the quarter pole under threat to the outside and yielded the front before spinning two to three wide at the top of the stretch, then tired through to the finish. BLUE PILL chased along the inside from the tail of the field, angled out nine wide into upper stretch, came under a light drive with three-sixteenths to go and trailed throughout.
