Chart notes
JUSTIFIABLE STEEL took command to set the pace on a clear, well measured lead into the far turn, widened the advantage on the bend, repelld the bid of the runner up midway down the lane and pulled away in a determined drive. MODAROSA unhurried to be near the rear of the field to the far turn, rallied steadily on the bend from four wide, closed ground to loom in mid-stretch and failed to get passed the winner settling for second best. FOXY JUNIOR slow early to be the trailer, remained at the rear to the top of the lane and showed late interest to be along for the show. CANDY REWARD tracked the leaders from mid-pack while reserved off the pace to the final bend, closed the gap on the far turn to be prominent turning for home and flattened out in the lane unable to sustain the bid and was vanned off post-race. NIGHT NURSE prompted the pace to midway on the final turn and faded unable to keep pace.
