Chart notes
SHOWDOWN KING stalked the pacesetter to the quarter pole, rallied edging closer in upper stretch and wore down the stubborn pacesetter in the final furlong to pull clear late. HE'S ON THE FLY set a well measured pace taking control from the gate, responded when chalenged turning for home, vied through the lane failing to swap leads and gave way grudgingly in the final sixteenth in a good try. CONDEMNATION reluctant to load, broke at the rear of the field, moved up to track the leaders through the turn, cut the corner to be prominent in upper stretch and finished evenly. BEACH HOLIDAY reserved off the pace to the top of the lane and rallied mildly in the stretch while drifting wide. INNUENDO was outrun.
