Chart notes
QUOKKA was held up at the rear, saved ground to the stretch, swung seven wide for the drive and rallied strongly from last to get up in the final strides. LEAVE IT TO KITTEN settled just behind the dueling leaders while two wide, remained in striking position through the turn, joined the battle in the stretch, bumped mildly with an outside rival late and gained second. MOOGIE SON raced three to five wide while close behind the leaders, moved into contention through the stretch, bumped lightly with a rival late and was narrowly outfinished for second. PILKINGTON rushed up after a slow start to duel outside GAGLIARDI, put a head in front on the turn, battled on into the stretch and was engulfed by the closers in the final strides. GAGLIARDI broke sharply, dueled inside PILKINGTON while clear of the others, battled on through the turn and remained in contention to deep stretch before being outfinished late. PERSONAL CREED settled well off the pace, advanced through the turn, swung seven wide into the stretch and continued to gain through the crowded finish. ASSIDUOUSLY (GB) saved ground while settled off the pace, advanced steadily through the turn, moved into third entering the stretch, then became blocked behind a wall of horses and found room too late. MIDNIGHT CHANNEL settled in the second half of the field, dropped back through the turn, swung five to six wide into the stretch, angled eight to nine wide late and made some late headway. DISCOMBOBULAATOR settled inside while off the pace, advanced into contention through the turn, was within striking distance entering the stretch, then took up sharply in traffic near the wire and dropped to last. THE JOCKEY ON #1 DISCOMBOBULAATOR LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #5 LEAVE IT TO KITTEN ALLEGING INTEFERENCE NEAR THE 1/16 POLE. AFTER A BRIEF REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THE CLAIM AND THE ORIGINAL RESULTS WERE MADE OFFICIAL. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
