Chart notes
PUSH MY BUTTON broke sharply, pressed the early pace four-wide before taking command near the three-eighths pole, opened a clear advantage into the stretch and held on narrowly as the runner-up closed in late. SHE STOPPED SHORT broke with the field, dropped back through the early stages, advanced three wide approaching the three-eighths pole, swung five wide into the stretch and closed strongly to just miss. BLUE OPAL broke inward, pressed the early pace while under a firm hold, backed off near the seven-sixteenths pole, came back on three wide through the turn, failed to change leads in the stretch and faltered late. LOULOU B got bumped after the break but held position, contested the early pace aggressively, racing two-deep, could not go with PUSH MY BUTTON when that rival quickened late on the turn, but kept on willingly through the stretch. CARLY'S FLIGHT was off slowly and bumped by LOULOU B shortly after the start, trailed through the early stages, remained well back into the stretch and passed a tiring rival late. LITURGIA was pushed early to contest the pace, began to lose position near the three-eighths pole, and steadily retreated through the late stages.
