Chart notes
HEAVY POUR set the pace on a well measured lead, responded when called upon nearing the quarter pole to kick away in upper stretch and came home unthreatened. HE'S A MESS reserved off the pace to race near the rear of the field to midway on the final turn and commenced a steady rally to be up for the place. FORTUNE SELLER prompted the pace for three-quarters, rallied to challenge the pacesetter on the far turn, failed to narrow the gap finished willingly through the lane for the show. DEVIL ANSE slow early to be well behind the pack to the far turn and showed some interest passing weaker in the lane. CARNIVAL ROCK tracked the leaders from mid-field and lacked a closing bid. ALEMAN stalked the pace to midway on the far turn and faded.
