Chart notes
MO CANTHARUS got away well, vied between horses past the eighth pole and inched clear to prove best. STAR HEIRESS vied three across to mid stretch, was outfinished and just held for place. PINK ANGEL raced close to the pace, bid willingly, was shut off near the eighth pole, angled in and finished well inside. ANDREA LEE was never far back, rallied on the turn, bid four wide into the stretch, hung late and lost position. ANGEL'S ANTHEM saved ground, bid along the rail on the turn, was crowded and steadied past the eighth pole and leveled off. STIR DON'T SHAKE vied inside to the upper stretch, weakened and faded through the lane. MAXIMUM RETURN broke stride early, hit the rail, was eased and walked off. THE STEWARDS' POSTED AN INQUIRY THE START OF THE RACE AND THE RIDER OF ANGEL'S ANTHEM CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF PINK ANGEL FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE PAST THE EIGHTH POLE. NO CHANGE WAS MADE.
