Chart notes
OUR FAVORITE SON was off a step slowly and crowded at the start, dropped inside to save ground, bid along the rail on the turn, closed willingly, dueled late and proved best. TUSSLING CHARLIE broke out, set a pressured pace, inched away for a short lead into the stretch, responded to duel late and was outfinished in a game effort. THAT'S RIGHT raced mid pack, put in a steady bid and got up near the wire for show. STAYED IN FOR HALF pressed the pace two wide, dropped back entering the stretch, continued willingly, hung late and was caught for third. THUNDERHAWK stalked the pace along the inside, angled out on the turn, closed well and didn't have enough late. ZAVALA was slow early, closed inside and improved position. ONE WHIRLWIND RIDE stalked the pace to the turn, dropped back and gave way. PESO IN MY POCKET trailed the field.
