STRADIVARIAN tracked inside, inched forward inside of SONIC SPEED into the far turn, rallied two wide between horses into the lane, continued to doggedly chase INDIE FREEDOM despite drifting out under a drive, and nailed the longtime leader in the final strides. INDIE FREEDOM soon led and was able to angle in from the outside gate, set the pace inside of the stalking SONIC SPEED, raced in the two path on the far turn, was challenged by STRADIVARIAN and ARREST approaching the turn for him, battled on under a drive in the lane, but could not hold off STRADIVARIAN in the last jumps. CAUGHT OFF GUARD settled near the rear through the first turn, chased inside of ROWAN AUGUST down the backstretch, continued in the two path on the far turn, swung five wide into the lane, and ran on mildly in the lane to capture the show. ARREST tracked two wide between horses around the first turn, continued to chase in range outside of STRADIVARIAN on the backstretch, took closer order approaching the far turn, offered a four-wide bid past the five sixteenths, was outkicked by STRADIVARIAN and INDIE FREEDOM into the lane, flattened out and lost the show late. HAY MOON settled at the rear, trailed down the backstretch, took closer order while saving ground on the far turn, and ran on mildly to pass inside of tiring horses in the lane. SONIC SPEED prompted the pace two wide on the first turn, continued to stalk outside of INDIE FREEDOM down the backstretch, was pushed along into the far turn but began to flatten while racing three wide, was driven in upper stretch and continued to weaken. ROWAN AUGUST chased the pace three wide around the first turn, chased outside of CAUGHT OFF GUARD down the back straight, was pushed along in the three path on the far turn but lacked a response, was driven in upper stretch and weakened.
