DRAMA SPEAKER was keen into the first turn, tracked the pace inside, was joined to his outside by CACHINNATION and BLUES CROSS near the half, kept on just behind the pacesetter in the two path on the far turn, shifted out in upper stretch, loomed outside the leader and reeled her in past the sixteenth pole. MAYWOOD HONOR was keen to the lead, got a breather down the backstretch while continuing to set the pace, led in the two path on the far turn, carried the lead into the lane, but was caught inside the sixteenth. MIDNIGHT JOY raced toward the rear of midfield early, took closer order from near the half, chased between horses on the far turn, swung six wide into the lane, and chased on with continued interest to prove best of the rest. BLUES CROSS settled near the rear, raced at the rear into the backstretch, began improving inside from near the half mile mark, saved ground around the turn, was driven inside into the lane to reach contention, but was outkicked in the final furlong. HEAVENLY TACTIC chased midfield, briefly advanced in tandem outside of CACHINNATION near the nine sixteenths but soon was settled back toward the rear, raced three wide on the far turn, and was driven for a mild rally through horses in the lane. MARIAROSADELASERDA tracked keenly two wide early, continued to track in range down the backstretch, was pushed along in the three path on the far turn and driven three wide in upper stretch, but flattened out. CACHINNATION raced under a hold at the rear early, inched out of last inside of BLUES CROSS into the backstretch and then made a keen bid past the five eighths, was in range between horses at the half, tracked three wide around the far turn, floated five wide for the drive, and flattened out. BEAUTIFUL JUDGE raced toward the rear early, was relegated to the back into the far turn, raced at the rear in the six path around that bend, floated into the lane in the seven to eight path, was driven in upper stretch and never threatened.
